Tucson Star article about Cody Shear
The Tucson Star did an article about Cody Shear where Sheldon's coach, Lane Johnson, comes off really bitter about Oregon. Basically says Shear should stick with Arizona since Oregon didn't show any interest until late and isn't sure about the new staff, especially with the recent issues and how Helf and Co. were fired.

Re: Tucson Star article about Cody Shear
I read on 247 that Shear is a back up plan right now also, so that probably doesn't help in getting in the good graces of his coach.

Isn't Sheldon going to have a new coach next year?

Lane is retiring so it'll be interesting to see who they hire. I've seen rumors of Chris Miller coming back from West Linn to coach them.Phenom wrote:Isn't Sheldon going to have a new coach next year?

Guy is still bent out of shape about the lack of love from the previous staff. Grow up.

We could've used this guy for all the salt needed in Portland during the storm.

Man I'll bet RichRod is not a big fan of WT and staff.
From the article:
Since Taggart was hired in December, Oregon has flipped three Arizona commits in receiver Darrian McNeal, quarterback Braxton Burmeister and defensive lineman Austin Faoliu, reeled in a top Arizona target in cornerback Thomas Graham, is a favorite for former four-star UA commit Greg Johnson, offered UA cornerback commit Tony Wallace and has been talking to UA receiver commit Brian Casteel.

That's funny, I read the other article first and had the same reaction. Same quotes as the other one too, nothing new added.Ducks10 wrote:We could've used this guy for all the salt needed in Portland during the storm.
