Yeah, this is a bit odd. His last Sparq test showed 4.7 but he's got good wheels and supposedly ran in the 4.5's the year before. He won a state title in FL though played some real competition and against great athletes. Kids got grit. Could certainly play slot and RB. Interested to see where he ends up. Gonna be an interesting run.
I wonder when that Nike Sparq test was done? I couldn't figure that out by looking at his Hudl page. This was one of the fastest kids in Florida from 8th-10th grade. He was timed at 4.41, and it gets mentioned a lot, but I don't know if that was laser timed. He ran a 10.77 PR in the 100 during his sophomore year. He had all the big schools on him tOSU, Alabama, Clemson, Florida. Then he tore his hamstring and had to have it surgically repaired. Don't know how much that slowed him down. Plus, he looks heavy. I would guess that 4.73 Sparq time was on a bad day or maybe battling injury or just not as ready or maybe the hamstring was acting up or whatever. As Stevenstech mentioned he ran a wind-aided 11.24 100m as a junior, but it looks like he wasn't running nearly as much track his junior year as he did as a sophomore. He tore up the hammy running track, so that's understandable.
He filled his highlight tape by outrunning South Florida kids time and again. He's fast. He may not be elite as he was as a Sophomore, but he's fast enough to play the slot or RB IMO, as I would expect him to do a lot of hybrid stuff.
I don't buy the 4.7 time. If that really was the case, he'd be lucky to get a Florida Atlantic offer. I trust Taggart. He liked him enough at SF to try to pull him out here. Not sure about some of the others mentioned. McNeal was a Zona commit, so it's not like he didn't have other decent offers. Ducks need depth and special team guys too. Considering the short window WT had to pull a class together, he has done very well.

Probably correct. His junior film was awesome. Senior year was pretty sparse. These times can be misleading and seeing 10.77 in his past is a real positive. So many kids/coaches lie it's tough to ascertain until you see it. I'm hopeful and the kid is certainly a gamer!
I think those are highlights of one game. See how he's playing against the same team? I've seen much more impressive clips of him this year. I agree that those aren't the most flattering highlights.
