Redd still onboard?

Post by Nickwc4 »

Is Redd still committed? Saw on 247 he got a crystal ball to ole miss and someone state he is down to 3 teams. Thought we were in good standing with him and that he was just taking visits for the experience. Should we be worried?

If there's one possible defection, it could be him. Still think he's a strong Oregon lean but with it being the crazy season of the recruiting cycle, anything could happen. This Scout article and the fact he's taken down all his Oregon tweets likely aren't going to make some Oregon fans feel comfortable.

Leavitt and Clark like bigger corners so he may have seen writing in the wall. I think we are cool either way

He's being brought in to play mainly WR and some nickelback so I don't think he's entirely without a position/role at Oregon.

Yeah I think redd would play on offense. Wonder if all these sub 6 foot "athletes" committing have redd questioning where he fits in.

I prefer Redd over burch personally. I was kinda hoping burch was a greyshirt

Yeah would suck to lose redd at the expense of judson, McNeill, and Burch. He is far and away more athletic than these guys.

Thought about that. Not exactly one of the recruits I would like to see stir up the drama before signing day.

Yeah, I don't know what to make. I don't think he's playing a ton of defense at Oregon. He could be great returning punts, and jett sweeping, and catching quick hitters in space. I could see him wondering what to do.

IMO Redd & Gibson are both doing the same thing: removing all indications of where they will commit to build up suspense & hype. Nothing more than two 18 year olds having fun with the process.

As long as they are being straight with coaches that's fine.
