Wow... maybe we should try to get blown out and tell the fans to quiet down the next time he visits.Tray Dub wrote:brich75 wrote:
Also, he's back to favoring Cal. Liked that visit more than the Oregon one. It's certainly not set in stone tho.
Also, Keenan Allen is indeed all Bama right now.

Like I've said before, a lot of kids don't really put a huge amount of weight into whether or not the team they're visiting wins.karlhungis wrote:Wow... maybe we should try to get blown out and tell the fans to quiet down the next time he visits.Tray Dub wrote:brich75 wrote:

I am aware of that. If we can't win him over with gameday atmosphere, on field performance and superior facilities, then I really don't see him coming to Oregon.

Don't worry. Cal isn't a strong favorite. There's still a lot of time before he commits.karlhungis wrote: I am aware of that. If we can't win him over with gameday atmosphere, on field performance and superior facilities, then I really don't see him coming to Oregon.

Academics and defensive scheme play a factor as well. Cal is one of the few teams in college football who run a 3:4 defense.

If the attacking style Oregon is playing successfully right now doesn't appeal to prospects, what will?

Sometimes the recruiter is the one who sells the program, not the style of play, facilities, history, success, bowl appearances, etc. Cal has some good recruiting coaches. I think Oregon's new staff will get there, I like what we have done so far in recruiting!
