Only thing we can knock is throwing all of our eggs into the Falo basket and not signing anyone who can rush the passer. I think those will be our two biggest issues next season. Excited to see what these guys can do with a full year to recruit.

Not to be a sunshine pumper but watch out for Young and Hollins. They fit the new scheme better. Also, Moi will also be a much better fit as well. I think they'll surprise you. Different sheriff, scheme, conditioning and training focus. We still need an elite guy but part of this is scheme related.

I hope so. I was at the Cal game and did not see much speed or bend from Hollins around the edge. He was consistently stood up and pushed back by the LT. Hoping he makes a break through with the 3-4.

I'm a little higher on Young. Hollins and Moi are serviceable but kind of pinning my hopes on Young.

A lot of our pass rushers were recruited for the 3-4.

Last year's ludicrous hole experiment left a lot of guys out of their element.

Also should be noted, our whiff on a pass rusher this class probably hits us in a couple years. Rare for a freshman to make an immediate impact anyway.

We'll be fine. Need to recruit well for needs in 2018

Well to be fair, we were all screaming for the 4-3. Now that I have seen the 4-3 run (and run really poorly), I am over the moon we're headed back to the 3-4.

Too true. I wanted that as well but more than anything wanted a D that could stop the bloody run and pressure the QB. We seriously failed at both. However,Leavitts D runs a pressure 3-4 not the crap that Pellum ran. Even the NT penetrates

They actually offered 2-3 other TE, but neither worked out since it was so late. I just don't think Taggart liked Moses-Carr, who he could have still held onto, but why take a kid just because?

I think its a dang good class put together in less than 5 weeks, part of which was a one man two man show (Taggart then Leavitt), and most important got Royce back and kept Carrington and Springs from transfering (word was those two had one foot out the door). Also we are up to 19 now on 24/7. So 19, 18, and 16 on the three sites is pretty good considering a 4-8 record, coaching change, and off season issues.
