Interesting that nearly everyone is on board with:
*Verdell is underrated
*Marlon and Molden should have been Ducks
*Bruce Judson doesn't seem likely to contribute
*Great class given the circumstances
*The FL guys in this class may not turn out to be Pac 12 guys
*Falo and Artis going elsewhere were big blows
Im surprised nobody has mentioned Tua. If he wins a Heisman, Helfrich's name will be forever tarnished and his records erased from the HDC.

Nobody mentioned Tua because the criteria for players that got away or whatever were for players that went to teams in the PAC12Duckenstein wrote:Interesting that nearly everyone is on board with:

I'm not putting money on the USF offensive kids, but I believe we get more out of them than people think. Davis has to contribute at some point. I could see Judson busting, but I'm guessing he'll see the field more than we think. Burch and McNeal I really don't know what to say. The look like every other little fast dude you've ever seen. I do remember a USF fan saying never doubt Taggart on running back and slot back recruiting, so I'm going with that on these USF guys. Plus, since Taggart decided to really go heavy on those slot-types, I expect he's going to use that position a ton. The couple USF games I watched the slot was often the most active on the field and kind of dictating the play-calling.Duckenstein wrote:Interesting that nearly everyone is on board with:

McNeal is not a USF kid. I do think he will contribute here.

Player 3* or less who will be a stud:
- Verdell & Scott
Player you would have LOVED to flip from a conference rival:
- Marlon
Player you HATED to see sign with a conference rival:
- Marlon & Molden
Player (went elsewhere) offered that you didn't mind missing out on:
- Kirkland
Player in the class that you're worried will bust:
- Judson
Player that will make an impact the soonest:
- Stack (close 2nd, Scott & Moore)
Nation-wide player with the best chance of being drafted #1 overall some day:
- Solomon
Overall feelings/grade for the class:
B+, For once, I see a class with 14-16 legitimate starters w/6 of them being impact players, I see all others as contributors but Judson & Burch who could be good but have limited options(RB& Slot) and don't see them beating out the others. Not sure how Gibson will transition either.

Ah, right. I throw him in as a Floregon kid. Meaning all those dudes were getting recruited by Taggart in Florida to play at USF. McNeal too. He just never planned to go there.Phenom wrote:McNeal is not a USF kid. I do think he will contribute here.

I really think Judson might surprise people. He was a running back worthy of an Ohio State offer. That is rare air. I know he has some work to do to get back in shape, but if he does, he has the tools to be the best recruit we snagged.

Agreed, I think Judson is going to be the surprise from this class.UofDuck wrote:I really think Judson might surprise people. He was a running back worthy of an Ohio State offer. That is rare air. He can go either way. I'm excited to see him after our strength and conditioning team gets ahold of him.FlDuckFan wrote:Agreed, I think Judson is going to be the surprise from this class.UofDuck wrote:I really think Judson might surprise people.
