OL Tommy Brown Offered
http://oregon.247sports.com/Article/Ore ... --51171382
Kid is prototypical tackle size. I think what the most interesting thing about Tommy Brown is that he has 2 crystal balls to Alabama and his primary recruiter was none other than Mario Cristobal. Time to see Cristobal's recruiting chops this cycle and see if he can lock down Brown. He's also from Austin Faoliu's high school of Mater Dei

He is huge. Taggart's crew really takes a different view to recruiting lineman compared to our previous coaches.

Depends, though, if our corners don't give 10 yard cushions...

This is where this next class gets interesting. Can Cristobal pull in guys he would have at Bama?

This was more a schematic/coaching issue with the old regime. I'm pretty sure that this will not be an issue going forward with Coach Leavitt and crew.hjpop wrote:Depends, though, if our corners don't give 10 yard cushions...

Plus there is a reason we want to target taller corners. Time to press and beat us over the toppolyduck wrote:This was more a schematic/coaching issue with the old regime. It doesn't. Looks like he got confused as to which side this post is referring.duckduckgoose wrote:What does this have to do with the topic posted?hjpop wrote:Depends, though, if our corners don't give 10 yard cushions...

Re: OL Tommy Brown Offered
Scott Reed of DSA did an interview with Brown recently and Brown said that him and Austin Faoliu are like brothers. Think Oregon has an outside shot of getting Brown.Phenom wrote:He's a Bama legacy. Will be interesting.
