WTF? I thought he qualified to get into Stanford? Why in the hell would he pick Oregon State over Stanford and Oregon? Something is going on here.

How can a halfway intelligent person visit Corvallis and decide this is where they want to live for the next 4-5 years? Unbelievable.

Not only that, but over Stanford? Very strange.

I have gotten a spate of bad news lately. I am really hoping our fortunes change quickly because it's depressing. Anyway, the tide is about to change and hopefully it starts with Boyd.

The 4 Rivals recruting experts all picked him to go to Stanford. They must be serving up some pretty strong Kool-Aid over there at OSU to snag Philipp after his visit. Why did the Duck not want Siddoway again???

Picking OSU over Stanford or us makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever. That was a steal!
Good job Riley.

I unfortunately am a OSU student who grew up in Eugene. I have hated my time in Corvallis and find it to be an awful place to spend 4-5 of your best years. When you are in your late teens and early twenties Corvallis is like being exiled to your grandmas. Awful. Boring. Average. Blah :?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
