How good is Scarlett? We haven't heard too much about him since it seems like this year's recruits (White, Owa, King) and other recruits from next year (Coleman and Lyerla) get much of the attention.

Notre Dame, Washington, UCLA, and OSU have offered. He is the real deal. He'll likely be the highest ranked state of Oregon recruit for 2011 IMO. (Or #2 behind Lyerla)

I volunteer coached for CC this summer and saw him play a few games and he's really, really good. One play in particular that really impressed me was against Lake Oswego where he made the tackle on a screen play that was on the opposite side of the line that he was for only a 2 yard game (and that's with all of LO's blockers picking up the CC players on that side of the field). Those offers definitely won't be his last.

I know a kid who plays for CC and he says BS is a total animal on the field... impossible to block/stop. Granted, this is coming from another kid, but he goes up against him in practice and gets his butt kicked everyday...

He might be the best prospect overall coming out of the state, slightly better than Colt and Tyson. The Ducks have a really good shot to land all three.... 1 down 2 to go! Tyson already said he is trying to talk the other 2 into playing for the Ducks with him. Colt has been to several games and is always wearing Duck gear!

I saw him in person for the first time last Friday. He's really good. Most likely a DE in college. No way he's as good as Colt Lyerla. Colt is a freak of nature. Hearing how well he did at big camps last summer (before his junior year), he should end up a 5 star. I know they already have Coleman, but if the Ducks could only have one 2011 kid, I guarantee it would be Lyerla.
