John Wall
I saw on ESPN John Wall and another incoming HS player at UK are being investigated concerning eligibility. Didn't Calipari have a problem with another HS player regarding test scores (Rose now with the Chicago Bulls). Coincidence?

I didn't catch the whole thing either but I just find it a bit of a coincidence that there are 2 UK players that have issues and the whole thing with Rose when he was at Memphis.

And yet, USC can't get any action even after the guys have fled to the NBA or NFL...

Re: John Wall
yea its actually nothing to do with calipari but i can see why people would assume that. its brian clifton, former aau coach/agent (who was actually trying to push Wall to go to Duke). likelihood is that wall will have to pay back whatever the allegations consist of and miss 3-4 games...all this info is from a UK friend who pays for inside info so its as credible as you can get (and they've known about the situation possibly arising for a couple months)gofightingducks wrote:chump01284 wrote:I think its something related to AAU coach used to be Agent in '08, im not sure whats the whole story.gofightingducks wrote:I saw on ESPN John Wall and another incoming HS player at UK are being investigated concerning eligibility. Re: John Wall
Probably not that big of a deal, they will get it straightened out and Wall will play without any problems, but sometimes it is nice when Oregon doesn't land these kids so they don't have to deal with the negative publicity. After the whole Blount thing if John Wall was at Oregon could you imagine what people would be saying.quackattack wrote:yea its actually nothing to do with calipari but i can see why people would assume that. its brian clifton, former aau coach/agent (who was actually trying to push Wall to go to Duke). likelihood is that wall will have to pay back whatever the allegations consist of and miss 3-4 games...all this info is from a UK friend who pays for inside info so its as credible as you can get (and they've known about the situation possibly arising for a couple months)
