Hufanga changing visit plans???
It would be nice to get the final visit with he and Cota.
For weeks, Hufanga has had an official visit to USC on the schedule for December 15 - just days before football's early signing period (December 20) and within weeks of his planned decision date.
However, those plans are now subject to change.
Although Hufanga indicated he "hated talking about" the possibility of a playoff loss, he said recently that if that were to happen he would likely move up his USC visit to the game against UCLA (November 18) and visit Oregon on December 15 for an official visit instead.
With Crescent Valley's 24-22 loss to Churchill on Friday night, that scenario is in play, and Oregon could get the final visit for the five-star talent.

It would be neat to get him. I have been curious about him most of the year. I don't know what Oregon's chances are. I would guess it is probably going to be USC and that would suck since he is an instate kid. Not to many 5 star kids come out of the state. Even less of them commit to play at Oregon.

He's got to be thinking he can start right away here and we really need him. Not only is it rare to have a 5* kid it's rare to have one on the defensive side of the ball.GoDucksIn09 wrote:It would be neat to get him. I have been curious about him most of the year. But the big recruiting week in December only happens if Oregon misses a bowl game or they get a bowl game that allows them to be in town that weekend. Basically you want Oregon to get any bowl game but the Las Vegas Bowl.

Vegas bowl is the 16th but any others we would conceivably make are all around the 24th or 26th. IE: cactus bowl, armed forces, Frisco and maybe heart of Dallas bowl.

The Pac-12 is going have between 7 and 10 bowl teams this year so I imagine there's going to be a bunch of wheeling and dealing by the bowls to get the teams they want. Oregon is going to finish no higher than 6th so you hope someone is willing to trade up for them or they fall to something like the Cactus Bowl in the 7th spot to get a good date so the recruiting weekend can happen as planned.
