No idea for 2018. There's one or two 2020 recruits that are close to committing, which is just crazy to me.

I think we can likely rule UCLA out for Chase Cota now.
So long as Chip Kelly doesn’t head to LA I’m fine with whatever happens.

Now that Chip Kelly is going to UCLA, will it make a difference?

Even if Cota chooses UCLA, there's plenty of WRs still available.

Now that he’s in UCLA I think Jalen Hall may be someone they go after. Greg Biggins made a post on DT (24/7) that has since been changed to VIP but it pretty much said if Chip Kelly goes to UCLA then they are a player for Jalen Hall. I think he said USC and UCLA were fading away, but because Hall’s Mom wants him to stay home they were still players in his process.

My point being you can already see the impact he has on recruiting. UCLA is always a player on the west, as most say it recruits itself but with someone who has a system that’s very attractive to skill position players, I think it’s going to be a good combination.

It will have an effect, but calling jalen hall a ripple base on Biggins post is a S T R E T C H.

Greg Biggins is usually a pretty knowledgeable and well connected guy. It’s also not the first mention of UCLA and USC losing interest in Hall. It’s not a “ripple” that’s going to trigger an onslaught of flips, but it’s something to watch out for. The fact he spoke to Hall/his connections and received that information is still something to keep an eye on regardless of whether it happens or not.

Oregon needs a final DE/LB in this class so it'd make sense, considering we haven't seen any other prospects at that position really being recruited hard by them.

I know a lot of people aren't super high on Winston, but I really like him. I'd be really happy with him in this class.

I agree. I like him and I've heard that he had a great senior campaign. People hate on a lot of Central Catholic kids for some reason. They were saying the same things about Lamar.
