Some people are saying Hufanga wasn't all that impressed with his visit to USC and they believe that Oregon is the frontrunner.

Those comments were based on his appearance at the game. That is a lot of reading into body language.

That's what I thought. He sure looked okay in the photos he posted on Twitter so I do think some are reading too much into a few shots that I bet you could find of any recruit on a visit.jimmy12 wrote:greenyellow wrote:Some people are saying Hufanga wasn't all that impressed with his visit to USC and they believe that Oregon is the frontrunner.

I like Johnson, he has potential but should be redshirting right now. I've maintained all year UO has the least talented WR group in the confrence. You look at ASU, WSU, Utah and they all have big long athletes at WR. That's what we will have next year.jimmy12 wrote:I love Johnson. He is a stud. Where we lack and I am really hopeful about these big, fast receivers coming in is in separation AND blocking. Our blocking on the edges has been only decent and can improve with these freshman.
If this class holds, and I believe it will, you're looking at something special in two years.

Johnson should be redshirting? Only if we still had Carrington and Jalen Brown. Johnny Johnson has been, at worst, our third best receiver and probably the second best behind Nelson and ahead of Mitchell. He has great hands and just as importantly he can block.buckmarkduck wrote:I like Johnson, he has potential but should be redshirting right now. I think that's their point though. If this team had the talent that it should have had, given our success over the last ten or so years, then Johnson would be l-prospect project player. I don't they are saying he's bad, rather a situation put him on the field.GoDucksTroll wrote:Johnson should be redshirting? Only if we still had Carrington and Jalen Brown. Can't argue with that. We could have had Carrington, Jalen Brown, Kirk Merritt and Tristan Wallace in our WR rotation this year. Not really poor recruiting, just three knuckleheads and a high achiever who got a great opportunity.CanadianQuackers wrote:I think that's their point though. What is Wallace up to? People were saying he had IMMENSE potential before he screwed up.

He's at a JUCO down in TX. Looks like he's getting offers from a few schools.Phenom wrote:What is Wallace up to? People were saying he had IMMENSE potential before he screwed up.
