The shift of philosophy begins, I guess?lukeyrid13 wrote:I'm a bit surprised with how much Taggart loved riding Royce all season, that we haven't sought after a bigger back the last two years. Felix, Verdell, Elliott, Jashaun Gervin etc and Jaylon Redd if you include him are all in the APB mold as opposed to a bruising every down back.

Verdell is 5'8 192 as a true freshman.. by comparison maurice jones-drew was 5'7 190 at ucla his freshman year and played at 205 his jr year. Verdell will probably play at somewhere in the 200-210 range.. with his frame that's an every down back.
Jashaun Corbin is 6'1 190, with that frame he could be 210 maybe 220 if its good muscle and can maintain his speed.
I get it though, you're probably thinking JStew, Rolls, Blount types.. Yes I would like one of those as well lol.

I didn't realize Corbin was that big. Pimp is even bigger than I thought cause he towers over Corbin.

I spend my days writing papers and looking at recruiting info, he’s quite impressive. In terms of his size. Corbin that is. I haven’t watched his film yet though.lukeyrid13 wrote:I didn't realize Corbin was that big. Pimp is even bigger than I thought cause he towers over Corbin.

Taggart is in Fresno visiting Steve Stephens:
Arroyo is in Houston, visiting Jaylen Waddle's school (Saban was also there today):
Leavitt is in FL:

First Auburn steals our national title, and now they are going to inadvertently steal Waddle? Ugh...who invited them to the party?greenyellow wrote:Taggart is in Fresno visiting Steve Stephens:Arroyo is in Houston, visiting Jaylen Waddle's school (Saban was also there today):Leavitt is in FL:
For reals though, it looks like Taggart is making the rounds to all of the currently committed prospects at the moment. Likely just some sort of confirmation bias but that’s how it seems.

Either this is the biggest CFB troll job since Chip flipped to the League, or WT is setting up Oregon for an epic future!

To me this Taggart leaving after 1 year would be 1000 times more surprising than when Kelly went to the NFL. After Kelly flirted with it after our NC game we knew it was only a matter of time and would definitely happen. But I don't think anyone ever thought for a split second Taggart would leave after one year.

If you want to feel better this morning go on Twitter and find what Jevon Holland's mother tweeted. I would post but am on a plane and working from my phone.
