One possible hiccup with Grinch and Lake is that they both coach DBs...we already have 2 DB coaches..

Hope this ^^^ is true. Would love to get back into it for a few other WR’s that we lost in the aftermath of Taggart leaving.

Would be shocked if we pulled in Harrison, interesting jhop is going out to say he thinks Oregon lands him.

That would be HUUUGE.

How much of that depends on whether Johnson stays?

Phrem just posted something about the coaching staff but can't read it.
From the comments, it sounds like most of the update was about WSU DC Alex Grinch and Lupoi. Sounds like they may go after Grinch if/when Leavitt leaves. Lupoi sounds like another option for DC if Leavitt and Grinch don't get it.
From Football Scoop..Washington State: Defensive coordinator Alex Grinch is “weighing multiple offers, including Texas A&M and Arkansas,” Brock Huard noted on 710 ESPN Seattle today. Huard added that he’d be surprised if Grinch opts to stay in Pullman..

So Leach is losing his record setting QB, kicked his leading receiver off the team and now will probably lose his DC. It will be a long season next year at WSU. Wonder if Oregon has been in touch with Grinch.

If we're bidding against TAMU and Arkansas we're going to have to bring our wallets. Just pay Jim.

Arkansas wouldn't outbid us but aTm likely would. IDK where Grinch is from, so not sure if Oregon or Texas would be more appealing.

ATM isn't targeting Grinch according to a story on Reddit.

Supposedly some people are backing off their initial claims that Leavitt is for sure gone, so who knows. If we did target Grinch and/or Jimmy Lake from UW, both are secondary coaches, of which we already have two. It shouldn't deter us from hiring the best guy available but I think they'd probably prefer to get a DC who also coaches LB in a perfect world.

Where is this coming from? Wasn't it just the other day where a bunch of sources said we were completely out of it for him? lol

Football scoop has an update: Sources tell FootballScoop Texas A&M has their eyes on another person and that Grinch was never offered Texas A&M defensive coordinator.

Somebody said on DT: Accoding to Nolecast Jim Leavitt is not of interest to FSU because of too high of salary , Nolecast is saying Kevin Scehrrer ,UGA 375K,Traveris Robinson,South Carolins750K,or Todd Graham, Mississippi State 750K are their best choices . Maybe Leavitt is overpaid for FSU , a great fiy for us.THIS WAS POSTED ON FSU DC

Hopefully Leavitt wants to stay here
