I don't think we'll be seeing any pleasant surprises in the next week.

Braden Lenzy is committing and signing Friday. Probably not with us. Isaiah Bolden is also supposed to be signing Friday, and 99% that it will be with Willie.

Talanoa Hufanga is committing on the 28th. Most likely to USC.

We may get more decommits: Jonathan King, Andrew Johnson, Spencer Webb are all candidates. Really like Johnson and Webb, hope they don't bounce.

Anything else seems highly unlikely. Sewell delayed his commitment. Devon Williams is probably announcing later. No idea on Jalen Hall. Maybe a re-commitment from one of our wayward WRs or some JuCo or under the radar guy.

Unfortunately this is it. Gotta think the tide will turn and we'll get some good news at some point.

With 13 signed and at least 2 more likely to sign in the next couple day, this class is only half done. Plenty of good things could still happen, especially once the coaching staff is complete and on-campus visits start up again in January.

I'm with greenyellow.

Once the staff is settle I think we'll see a couple of good surprises.

Devon Williams is still a possible crown jewel.

OL commit Justin Johnson seems to be hinting at good things to come:

This is a great post and appeals to my inherently pessimistic nature. However, if I am looking for a bright side, at least most of the guys the ducks are in it for didn't sign with other schools yet. I can't help feeling like once the staff gets their feet under them again, they will be able to pull some guys back in by February. Certainly, Justin Johnson's tweet above is encouraging, and that from one of the guys who isn't signed yet. Another positive is that Johnson is from outside the region on a day when nearly all of the signees came from western states.

Ducks had a great start today, and hopefully there is a second half to come.

Haha, didn't mean to come as that pessimistic. I just meant that in the next week there wouldn't be great news, but there will be good news in January and February.

The UA and Army All-America games are in January, and a lot of recruits commit at those. Jalen Hall, Penei Sewell, Jaylen Waddle and Tyler Manoa are playing in the Army game. Unfortunately if Hufanga doesn't quack we don't have any commits in that game to help recruit. Devon Williams and Tyreke Smith (long shot) are playing in the Under Armour game, as are Adrian Jackson, Steve Stephens and Dawson Jaramillo.
