Saw on corpatty twitter Edit: QUACK! Johnson picks Oregon

Post by duckfan96 »

That dj johnson is being granted his release by Miami and Oregon is one of the schools he can enroll in. Anyone have a scoop on this kid? Probability of coming to Oregon?

If Johnson's recent twitter follows are an indication it looks like he's favoring Arizona. Coming out of HS he was really high on Washington. I don't know if we're a player here, as most Pac-12 schools are on this list of schools he can talk to. It would be cool to take a run at him, he was a monster at getting after the QB in high school.

But his two most recent follows were Arroyo and Troy Dye so he is thinking of Oregon.

I've heard that his older bro goes to Arizona.

Good eye. Hopefully we have a chance, we really need a dynamic pass rusher since Jelks and Hollins will be seniors. Really impressed with the social media work of Arroyo, he seems to be first point of contact for a lot of recruits regardless of position.

Think we can likely rule out Arizona now with Arizona firing RichRod.

Cristobal probably won't be chasing Arizona assistants, either...

Fwiw he wanted to come to UO when WT was hired, but his dad forced him to stick with his Miami commitment.

Only Pac-12 schools, but no Stanford or WSU. I wonder why not those schools?
