I would guess the "cute blonde" is part of his family, only a guess. She was holding Sofia's hand as they ran into the water.

She's JL's wife... Her name is Jody, and their daughters are named Deandre, Sofia and Isabella. (per GoDucks.com bio) Nice looking family.
