Forgive my ignorance. Can someone recap the Crocker saga? Jhop referred to “drama” around his recruitment.

One thing was that he apparently caught many of those close to him (some family included) off-guard about his plans to commit on Monday, especially when he announced that while on his Oregon OV this weekend.

That's probably been the biggest issue he's had ever since the Saturday Night Live recruiting event. Once he said he was committing on Monday and he was still in Eugene, I think he got his committable offer.

He’s been saying all year that he wasn’t committing until after December. The reason people didn’t think he had a committable offer was because he hadn’t committed but the reality was it was believed there actually wouldn’t be room for him when he wanted to commit. He’s always been a guy the staff wants, but space was the concern since he wanted to commit on his moms birthday. The tweet about the Monday commit wasn’t new info, that’s been his stance for a while.
