Agreed. I believe jhop and Co are very confident that we get some grad transfers but no word on particularsGoDucksTroll wrote:Are there any viable grad transfer options? Maybe more coming on the market after the spring semesters/quarters. I'm all for finding some ready to play finished products.greenyellow wrote:Sounds like Oregon is not happy about the depth at CB and RB so may take some grad transfers. With them likely only taking 28 and actually having room for 31-32, taking some grad transfers to shore up those positions would seem like better options than taking a backup option that may or may not be able to contribute.
Coaches being concerned with depth at CB and RB is concerning. In addition to TBJ we have 5 RBs on campus, and some guys who could play there if needed - like Griffin.
With CBs I can see the concern. Amadi is a part time safety. Graham and Lenoir are still young, and Graham alternates between looking like a future NFL player and being out of his league. Woods and McKinley probably make the rotation pretty quickly.
We've got a lot of dead weight on this roster. Guys like Jihree Stewart.
It's a good moment to go over there and pay 10 bucks to watch this play out. Fair warning, the board is insufferable, but the info is better than ever.

I think it's great that Jhop is getting good sources again, good for him. For me though, it feels like all he is doing is offering to tell you what your Christmas presents are a few days early. I can wait until Wednesday.Duckenstein wrote:

You're not wrong. And he is definitely taking subscribers for a rollercoaster by hyping up the bros.Phalanx wrote:I think it's great that Jhop is getting good sources again, good for him. But we don't have KOD around any more and it is nice to see some of that inside info again.
To each their own!

I bought the trial version for this week so it'll be interesting to see what having paid information feels like.

There's obviously wayyyy dumber ways to spend your money, but I can't imagine paying for rumors about high school kids, just poke me on signing day and I'm good.

I've been following recruiting for 14+ years and I paid for my first subscription in January. It's been worth it. Will I continue it after signing day? IDK yet but so far it's been way worth it.Hoagduck wrote:There's obviously wayyyy dumber ways to spend your money, but I can't imagine paying for rumors about high school kids, just poke me on signing day and I'm good.

I sometimes find the comment section more interesting than the actual info because you see many of the same guys who used to cause problems on DT causing the same problems on SD. Also, you get a lot people who think JHop's info is the gospel (even he says his info is only as accurate as his sources are willing to be) and anyone not saying that is a troll.Phenom wrote:I've been following recruiting for 14+ years and I paid for my first subscription in January. With Battle going to Ole Miss and Harrison trending towards FSU, it's looking like the only decommit they'll possibly get back is Ezeike.

Yeah it's bizarre. There's the DT contingent, but also this new crew of zealots that will believe anything.greenyellow wrote:I sometimes find the comment section more interesting than the actual info because you see many of the same guys who used to cause problems on DT causing the same problems on SD. I'm guessing Williams signs and Ezeike doesn't but I'd love to have bothgreenyellow wrote:With Battle going to Ole Miss and Harrison trending towards FSU, it's looking like the only decommit they'll possibly get back is Ezeike.

Trying to keep political stuff out of here so I've edited it out so it doesn't get people started down that rabbit hole.

J Hop tweeted: I know some #Oregon fans are a little bummed at missing out on Miles Battle, but I'm predicting a strong finish still. He has it linked to his site, but I'm not subscribed to it. Devon Williams and Sewell?

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
Does any one know if the coaches did that last in home visit with Harrison he came back from his FSU OV? If they didn't then I guess we are out of the running with Harrison.
