Next year is going to be huge for Cristobal and Arroyo to dispel these concerns. I'm pretty sure it played a factor with these WRs.
Really? I was also under the impression that the offense would be run heavy. Did I miss something or should there have been more clarity from the staff about this?

Another thought, other teams may have negative recruited Oregon because of not having a proven backup QB. Burmeister will improve, but how much? Will Shough be any better? I know that MOST teams really have no idea how a backup QB, especially a freshman, is going to perform, but in their case they can assure the recruits that they're in good hands.

In ours? Recruits aren't dumb. They saw what happened this season before and after Herbert went down with the injury.

If one of those guys doesn't step up it'll be even more scary next year, because of the possibility of Herbert going pro.

Run heavy like Chip's offenses (60-40), I could see. Run heavy like some other coaches (including Willie) told recruits we would be? Probably not. Fact is, our offense wasn't impressive in the Vegas Bowl and people used that against us. They also look at Mario's background as an OL coach and his comments about running the ball and you know they used it against us.

Any idea where this class ends up in ranking? I don’t think it’s quite the sky is falling level...coulda been better but could have a lot worse.

It is 16th on the 247 Composite Rankings. not bad at all.

Best recruiting pitch they'll have next year is there will plenty of playing time available at CB, WR, LB and DE.

I think it's a mixed bag.

They showed they could do pretty well in the trenches but failed miserably at CB and WR.

I'm just not convinced. Call me negative if you want like Damascus Duck, but I don't see it that way

It's a solid class and just about in line with other Oregon classes from the past 15 years

It's definitely not sky is falling. Not even close. With Sewell it's probably top 20

I think it’s a really damn good class. There were a lot of comments on here and twitter earlier that sounded a lot like the sky is falling

You are the most negative guy posting here and it's really not even close. Step back from the ledge. This is a good class, Considering everything with Taggart bolting, it's amazing they did this well.
Whoa man, slow down. I'm nowhere near a ledge.

Saying I'm not convinced on Mario after this finish and the LV bowl debacle means I'm emotionally unstable to you?

I think WR, CB, DL, OLB, and QB are big areas of need next year.

Hopefully the Bru McCoy rumors are true.
