Figured this deserved it's own thread for being a commit.
Looks like we found our big bruising RB!

Open the floodgates! Better hop on board while we still have room Mr. Top Rated Recruit...whomever you might be!
Big, and important commit if it sticks. Another top back would be icing on the cake but if we do nothing else we are in excellent position.

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Okay, not that I'm not THRILLED mind you, but how does this affect our chances with Lattimore and/or Seastrunk? Would we take three rbs in this class?

Yes. Jhop said that we would still take Latt or Seastrunk if they wanted to be a duck. You don't pass up on talent like that.Hoagduck wrote:Okay, not that I'm not THRILLED mind you, but how does this affect our chances with Lattimore and/or Seastrunk? Would we take three rbs in this class?
However, it's possible that the commitment of Williams could scare them away a little. But I personally doubt that.

Would he scare one of those other two guys off if he might have issues qualifying?

In order to qualify, it would require an ACT of 21-22 (Composite score of 85-86).
Depending on the student, it is doable, but it won't be easy...

Is that a recent GPA? When we fisrt started recruiting him we knew he had grade troubles but that he was supposed to be really working on them. Just wondering if thats an old GPA from when he was struggling.woundedknees wrote:Benches 350, but his current GPA is around 2.2?

Seems the same thing was said about Cliff Harris. Pretty sure I saw him in the game yesterday.sx1080 wrote:he wont get into UO with a 2.2woundedknees wrote:Benches 350, but his current GPA is around 2.2?
