Hit the books now, please!
he wont get into UO with a 2.2
Seems the same thing was said about Cliff Harris. Pretty sure I saw him in the game yesterday. ;)
Same thing was also said about Myles Wade, Simi Fili, Anthony Jefferson, etc.

As an athlete he can get in with that GPA as long as he's got the required coursework and a DECENT score on the ACT/SAT.

yeah, but then some of the people on rivals posted:
"A VERY reliable source told me Williams did in fact commit on this trip."
and someone else said:
"Someone is posting something on TOS. Hearsay for now but signs are pointing toward a commit from the big Texas RB."

Dontae told all the recruits at the game he is a duck. Maybe he needs to get his grades up before the coaches accept him? Or perhaps he just wants to keep it silent for a little bit?

I read that and I think those guys are more on top of things than the guys over at Rivals! I have a membership at both Rivals and DT and for less money I get more reliable info at DT.

"As far as a college game, I’ve never experienced a game like that,” Said Stephenson. “The crowd, the competiveness of the game and everything, it was a great experience. My friend, Dontae Williams who is committed to Oregon, was there too. It was a great visit.”

That's from duckterritory btw. I usually won't take quotes from their site, but I'm using this one to prove my point about Dontae being committed.

Just seems like there's some behind the scenes things with the coaches and Dontae that need to be finalized before it's official? I really don't know what's up, but hopefully we get some answers soon. But as far as I know, he's a duck.

Absolutely applaud Duck Territory. If I felt like paying for recruiting info ever, I wouldn't touch scout or rivals with a ten foot pole, but would happily pay for those guys' info.

I've been trying to get "over the hump" on paying off some old credit card debt (some of it back from my days at UofO!), and I'm pleased to say that I'm almost there! Another month or two to go. At that time, I'm very strongly considering becoming a paid DT member.

I've never paid to become a fan site member before. Although I don't post much, I've been around this community for awhile now -- maybe a couple of years -- and I really have faith in the moderators who have brought us so much inside info.

If anything, I want to start paying some fees just to let the gatherers know their work is much appreciated.

I am encouraged by Kelly's efforts to keep them on track academically once they do qualify. I don't think we will see a lot of our guys slip through the cracks.
