I may be "mis-remembering" but it seems like his grades were the thing in question so he quickly commited to a school before everyone backed off. Now maybe his grades are back in order?

I'm not sure what the story is with Stephenson too be honest. Just saw that rivals.com had him at the game.

But I'm sure this visit at least puts us in contention, right? I'd love to land him, but don't know what deal is. I'd settle for Mathis or Hill as well though.

Chris said everyone was having an amazing time! his mom wasnt able to watch the second half of the game, because the noise level was too loud , so she went to go watch it in the lounge. Chris said everyone was going nuts and enjoyng every minute. Dantae williams made a commitment, as well as the qb from kentucky, demarcus smith. He says demarcus will commit once he gets that offer. he said gabe loved it; no surprise. Chris didnt talk to trovon, so im not able to give you an update on that. he did say dargan told him he was wanting to commit. Chris says that was no doubt, the loudest stadium hes ever been too. clemson's stadium doesnt even compare he says. Overall, i expect us to land 80% of the recruits in attendance for that game. I have been texting uko, and no update yet on that. his phone is broken according to his best friend steven bethley. bethley is giving him an earfull after that loss, saying oregons the place you need to go. i was chillen with gabe king the other night walking on 13th in eugene. he says its so hard making a decision when 45 different schools across the nation are after you. he did say that he does love it here and to tell you the truth, im thinking he ends up a duck. you can criticize me all you want, saying hes probably going to cal, but i know all these guys. gabe really sounds like he will be a duck. sorry i havent been on here to post, due to school at the O. im glad to be back and posting on this site, go ducks!

It's really Gabe sounds like he's going to be a Duck, but when I've talked to him I've heard Cal. Maybe it's that he doesn't see me as biased as he sees you, since I'm not a student. Or maybe you just talked to him more recently (hopefully that's the case). I just really hope we get him. He's not just talented, he's also a cool person. Someone you definitely want on any team.
