2021 RB/DB Seven McGee QUACKS!
Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne athlete Seven McGee committed to Oregon on Tuesday afternoon. The 2021 prospect is the first commitment in the 2021 class for the Ducks.
This has been my dream to get an Oregon offer and so I was ready to commit. I have always been a big fan of De'Anthony Thomas and Marcus Mariota, so getting the offer now was all I needed. I am blessed."

Love the early recruiting activity by this staff! Lets hope he holds firm for 3 years. By the way he speaks about the program, I don't doubt that he'll stay a Duck.

Didn't Joey Harrington commit when he was like 4 or something?UOducksTK1 wrote:Earliest commit in Oregon history?

Sure, and I'd imagine there were some other in-state guys who knew they were going to Oregon since their youngin days. Definitely the earliest out of state commit we've had.Tray Dub wrote:Didn't Joey Harrington commit when he was like 4 or something?UOducksTK1 wrote:Earliest commit in Oregon history?
Hope his commitment sticks.

If memory serves me right, Joey seriously considered Stanford before signing on the dotted line with the Ducks. That isn't to say he didn't verbally commit much earlier (I have no recollection of that though) but when he really had to make a decision, it wasn't a slam dunk for the Duck by any means. Any student athlete who has the chance to go to Stanford would be wise to weigh the decision to go elsewhere very carefully. A Stanford degree gives a lot of credibility to a young graduate, especially one whose pro career didn't pan out as hoped.Tray Dub wrote:Didn't Joey Harrington commit when he was like 4 or something?UOducksTK1 wrote:Earliest commit in Oregon history?
