Can't ask for anything better than that. I sure hope the crowd will be throwing up the "O" for him the next four years!

"I met with them today. It went really good," he said. "I really liked talking to the Dean of Business and just hearing that they're number one in the nation in sports business. I thought that was pretty cool because that's the major that I want to go into."

I like the sound of that. I'm starting to get the feel that we have a better shot with Owa than Gabe. Gabe seems really confused IMO...Things can change quickly, but we are gonna be in it to the end with Owa.

Haven't seen alot from Owa this year, but based on what I saw at the AA workouts last year that kid is as special of a physical specimen as it comes.

As always, I have little to no specific or inside knowledge, but I feel like keeping this kid in-state could be as big, if not bigger than landing JStew was.

I really hope the coaches are touting the recent DL success. We've been able to take undersized "scrappy" guys like Nick Reed and Brandon Bair and turn them into college football stars, and, at least in Reeds case, potentially very good NFL players.

W/ talent and physical abilities like King and Owa have, we could make them legends...

There is no way that Bair is undersized...do you mean Rowe?

The stat i saw during the game had Bair a 6'7" 250lbs. If that is true i would call him undersized. At least as far as weight. That being said, I find it hard to believe he is only 250 being that tall.

Bair is undersized since he's playing DT when he's built like a natural DE.

This is going off-topic but what the hell,

I'm curious if Bair will be sought much as a DE in the NFL.....I'd say he has ideal size for that position, a good run-stopper but wonder if he is fast enough to be much of a pass rusher. From what I see, I think he would be a really good value draft as a DE. But what do I know? What do others think?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Bair is going to be an ideal 3-4 Defensive end. He's up to about 268 right now and with his frame could easily get up to 275 by the end of next year. Kid reminds me so much of Aaron Smith from the Pittsburgh Steelers its not even funny.
