And with his commitment, the Ducks are now likely done recruiting OL for this class. Only other one they sound willing to accept is Logan Sagopolu because he's taking his LDS mission out of HS so won't need a scholarship for a couple seasons.

Makes me wonder why they took Capra then?

Sure, Maybe they like him but there are better players

I'm sorry, but that statement is just stupid. Do you seriously believe 247 (or whatever ranking service) is the ultimate arbiter of OL talent, the most difficult position group to rank?

They need a center in this class and he's one of the top ones on the West Coast this year.

Well, the coaches apparently like what they are seeing out of his brother (considering he is a projected starter), and many view Joey as a better prospect (based on film). I would much rather error on the side of offering brothers and other legacy recruits that appear to be Pac-12 level players, rather than completely dropping the ball like they did with Colin Schooler.

Awesome!

Our OL talent is going to be obnoxious.

Dang! Cristobal’s OL is nasty. I mean, this whole close is getting stacked, but getting guys like Jonah is really gonna help push us over the top in the trenches.

According to Nemec (https://www.oregonlive.com/recruiting/i ... iver_index), he's a 4* and the third-highest rated recruit for the Ducks in this class who also had a terrific offer list.

No, but I've seen a few people say they aren't impressed

I have no inside information, but it seems as though Capra got his offer after Grant Trieber committed to Iowa State. So Capra was seemingly the backup plan.

I don't think anyone is stuck on him. If Cristobal loves Capra that's good enough for me

I questioned why we wouldn't accept another elite ol commitment
