Agreed on this. Bama/UF are on CBS or ESPN for almost every game. FSU was crap and still almost every game on ABC/ESPN. We’re lucky if we get Fox or FoxSports1 instead of PAC-12 Network, which I waste like $20 a month to have and had to switch to Dish to even get that option. Part of that is our doing, when Oregon was an elite team we’d be on ABC or ESPN. But part of it is Larry Scott, it shouldn’t be easier for a West Coast fan to watch Florida State.OregonFan4Life wrote:If the reason he doesn’t go to Oregon is due to lack of TV exposure then that’s another reason to fire Larry Scott ASAP. It’s sad how much damage one man can do to teams in a conference.

I know it's a different sport but Bol Bol chose us in part because he believed we could enhance his exposure.

The exposure he was talking about was social media. Oregon has an absolutely amazing social media team.Duck07 wrote:I know it's a different sport but Bol Bol chose us in part because he believed we could enhance his exposure.

When Oregon wins, All but two games end up on FOX/FS1 or ABC/ESPN. Pac12 network is only guaranteed two games per season per team.
Game selections are made based on who draws a better rating. Ratings are driven by relevance. If you don’t win, you’re not relevant. When Oregon did better on the field, FOX/ESPN would team up to force PAC12 to take crappy non-con games.
If Oregon is airing too often on PAC12, it’s because the school loses too much. That’s not on Larry Scott, it’s on Oregon.

Eh, being on Pac-12 network wouldn’t be such a drag if more than like 10% of the country had access to it. That’s the issue.ncduck wrote:When Oregon wins, All but two games end up on FOX/FS1 or ABC/ESPN. Pac12 network is only guaranteed two games per season per team.

Sounds like even the recruits and parents currently on OVs to Oregon are paying attention:

Win and Oregon hosting SE Missouri State and Eastern Washington are the only games on PAC12. Oregon is fully in control of its exposure.Duck24 wrote:Eh, being on Pac-12 network wouldn’t be such a drag if more than like 10% of the country had access to it. If people don't have ESPN on TV, Duck Territory has a writer live-streaming the event down in LA: https://twitter.com/Jonathan_SD8
