State of Pac-12 recruiting

Post by greenyellow »

Besides Oregon and maybe UW and Stanford, the majority of the conference's recruiting has been subpar. Too many West Coast kids are leaving for other conferences and some of the blame is being laid at the feet of Larry Scott.

It’s like saying ‘write your congressman’. Exchange congressman with AD and university president. Not that it will get you anywhere.

Hmmm... Oddly similar to the dreaded "Lack Of Institutional Control" Head Coaches get in trouble with the NCAA for, doesn't it?
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Funny that all the dawg fans were up in arms over this article because it did not specify that their class is 'phenomenal'.

Haha, that's what I got from that too. The replies they had on twitter were so sad, like "hey we have a great recruiting class too, why don't you mention us, don't you know what Petersen did with three stars?" Twenty comments, and they were all some variation of that.

Yep, I read those too. I wonder if they know how pathetic they sound and if the article did not mention UO they would be totally fine with it.

This article is pretty much pointing the finger at USC. They seem to be the only program that looks worse than normal.

Both LA schools are way off what they've been.
