Sounds like Auburn is in front slightly over Oregon. And LSU is really close behind.
Junior season: Trovon Reed accounted for 1,784 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Would be a huge get, but it seems like we're gonna finish 2nd like we do a lot with 4/5 star recruits from the other half of the country.

Thats too bad but we were really never in it with him until recently so I guess it was nice to get a visit. I wonder if Seastrunk also goes to Auburn even though they just got a top RB. Lattimore will probably go to Penn State or South Carolina or maybe he goes to Auburn also. I think Oregon misses out entirely on RB's for this class (other than Grant) which makes me wonder why we turned down D.Williams. I can understand missing out on WR's because untik recently we haven't had much of a passing game but missing out on RB's bogles my mind.

It does sound like we're going to strike out on the RB's we have targeted.

Well it's not like Oregon has sent out any stud WRs. To be fair, there's no ducks in the NFL that start at WR or even see considerable playing time.neezy3 wrote:can someone please name one wr thats made the nfl from auburn whats this kid thinking... auburn is probably one of the worst sec schools out there i could understand lsu but auburn.

Tigers WRs in the NFL with at least a catch this season:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/p ... erId=10640

Ducks WRs in the NFL with at least a catch this season:

Just saying, I think that's a dumb argument since Oregon isn't known for sending WRs to the NFL and becoming starters.

Re: Reed might decide Friday
jhop says Reed told him it's down to Oregon and Auburn.
Should be interested if he makes the call Friday.

I say it's Auburn, just so I won't be so disappointed if that is indeed his choice.UOducksTK1 wrote:jhop says Reed told him it's down to Oregon and Auburn.

Re: Reed might decide Friday
haha nice research, and i wonder why the hawks are so bad at times... just saying we are known for our offense and we put up huge numbers unlike most of the sec. I just think that auburn is going anywhere right now in the sec west and they're spread hasnt been all that good. i still dont think masoli is a great thrower and that impacts the throwing game but it will only get better. hope the kid picks us but i just dont see it happening, seems like distance and family will get the better of us again. either way good luck to mr reed

Jhop said he is announcing tomorrow at 10am EST. He says everyone thinks Auburn but he thinks Oregon.

Re: Reed might decide Friday
Good deal. It'd definintely help our chances with Seastrunk if Reed comes on board tomorrow. If he doesn't I don't see us getting Lache.gofightingducks wrote:Jhop said he is announcing tomorrow at 10am EST. He says everyone thinks Auburn but he thinks Oregon.
