This is awesome!

Hypothetically, if he were to fall in love with Oregon and commit, how would this affect C. White?

It would be interesting to land 2 4* TE's to add to an already deep TE core. Plus the Ducks are a top contender for a top in-state TE in next year's class. Will Oregon just line up TE's as WR's since they haven't been able to get any of them?

The thing with TEs is you can move them around. Depending on their skill set & size, they can be moved to D-line, WR, & even the O-line. Loading up on TEs is actually pretty smart. It all starts in the trenches & guys that are 6'3 - 6'4 & 260 lbs usually end up somewhere along the lines. Whether it be on offense or defense.

And with this offense it is important to have big, fast, strong, talented blockers that can peel off to catch the ball.

I watched Stanford recruit a bunch of TE's over past few years. Big athletic guys are always ok.

He looks better than Curtis on Tape. Which is saying a lot since Curtis is really good. He just looks like more of a Natural receiver than Curtis.

Thomas seems like a perfect fit for Oregon's offense.

If ducks can pick him up, it'll be interesting to see how we manage our players. IMO if we don't land Gabe or Owa, I think we'd see Curtis White move to DE. OR I think Dion Jordan could be moved back to WR. Him and Tuinei running down the sidelines would be fun to watch, haha.

I wouldn't worry too much at all about loading up too much at one position. The coaches generally do a good job of getting the best talent on the field.

Kind of off topic, but I had a dream last night that Gabe King couldn't get into Cal academically and said his final 3 were Illinois, Oregon, and Colorado. But he was all Oregon at that point.

I really need to get away from this board more often.

True. Helps with special teams too. It is hard to have too many good, big athletes.
