The music on this was great. Beautiful editing

- Kayvon is a beast
- Funa is good but might be too slow for outside
- Jayvaun Wilson might be overrated
- receivers all look good
- Dorllus is too slow for end but needs to add weight to play inside. Also gets stood up too easily

My favorite was Mase Funa's junior highlights. He's amazing in every defensive facet.

Kayvon is obviously a freak with a first step that compares favorably to the best DE recruits of the past decade. The camps and All-America practices were ridiculous, he's beating the best OL recruits with either speed or power. So fluid.

I thought Wilhoite would be my favorite WR, but I really think Pittman is the most ready. He reminds me of a physical WR like Darren Carrington.

All of the OL are vicious. Cristobal is definitely looking for maulers that will knock you down and then give you another tap.

Sean Dollars is faster than his testing numbers indicate, I'm surprised he didn't play more for Mater Dei. He reminds me of a slower but stronger Taj Griffin.

DJ James really surprised me, great late addition. He has some great cover skills.

Out of the DL I could really see Ware-Hudson as a big DE like Faoliu. Townsend and Ma'ae are raw, but intriguing. Kristian Williams is a dancing bear, I think he really has some potential.

GeMon Eaford was another guy who didn't particularly impress me. He has a weird tackling style, and doesn't look all that quick.

Out of guys we didn't get, I really liked Elijah Blades. Amazing athlete with everything you want in a CB. Kyle Ford would have been awesome.
Funa was great. I also thought some of our DTs looking impressive, both Poti and Ware-Hudson showed flashes of dominance.

Mykael Wright has stud written all over him. Big play guy, who does it all. He's gonna dominate at Oregon, watch for it.

Thanks! And I agree with Wilson. He doesn't seem like he has the speed to play RB. And for how big he is, he is definitely not a bruiser and rarely runs with power between the tackles.

I thought the same thing. He was really slow to the hole. I was actually excited about him when he verballed because I thought his junior tape looked much better. At this point in time Cyrus looks like a much better option as a big back. Much better feet and quicker to the hole.

I rewatched some of these clips as I had some things in my head based on comments but wanted to make sure I was voicing my thoughts correctly.

Jayvaun Wilson could definitely be quicker and that appears to be his downside along with running upright. Upsides are that he seems patient, falls forward, and has a nasty stiffarm. When was the last Oregon running back that was really good at stiff arming? Jeremiah Johnson? If anyone remembers more recent let me know.

Dorlus looks raw. Lot of potential.

Sala pancake blocks really well. Would love to see him looking for the next victim more.

Wilhoite has some insane one handed grabs and a hug catch radius but seems to struggle in his clips at high pointing the ball.

Ma'ae flashes incredible elusiveness but needs more fundamental work and moves.

Kayvon does it all. (Needs to not celebrate/taunt after plays though.)

Hill looks good and definitely looks the part. Seems a bit raw. James may be more quickly able to contribute. Hill hits hard.

Waters may be better than Wilhoite at getting open (to the receiving spot) in tight spaces and high pointing the ball. Where he needs to to improve is not holding the ball out after the catch when trying
to get YAC. Will lead to turnovers. Needs to not taunt during or after plays. (Also at the 19:25 mark are they rolling a giant painting across the back of he end zone? Bizarre.)

Delgados play style reminds me of Huff except that he catches better now and will likely need to work on blocking more. (Huff was a monster blocker.) Delgado is very smooth looking, another trait that Huff possessed as a receiver that I can't really think of a ton of other Ducks receivers showing. Played in multiple receiver positions in his clips but was mostly out wide. Seems a likely candidate to play more than one receiver spot along the way. Runs inside routes well rather than just being an outside route guy. Shifty and quick footwork. Due to footwork appears to play head games with DBs. Yes please.

Dollars looks like a great all purpose back. A couple plays in he did what Washington State receivers have been doing to us for years. Needs to not relax his grip on the ball when nearing the touchdown though. Very elusive in traffic. Does not seem to juke anyone out of their jockstraps but steps in the right places and is shifty. Not as fast as he could be.

Ware-Hudson is extremely good at fighting through blocks to get to the ball. Looks like a fast NT who should probably get a lot of play outside, especially on running plays as he seems to excel at contain. Good at rushing the passer but very good at contain. Finds the ball quickly.

James spends a lot of time looking for the football which we need to see more of. Good coverage skills. Seems comfortable in his position.

Pittman has incredible fight for YAC but first, he catches the ball. Love the stories I have read about how he is trying to improve his strength and skills this off-season. Looks like he will be a good blocker for us as well and while not the fastest of our new receivers is shifty and punchy. (Not sure if punchy is the best word there? He gets through people for more yards.) Locates the ball well and comes up with it. Maintains body positioning through the catch to make it harder for DBs to get in on the action. (His legs seem to get more in a ready stance for the catch to prevent a DB from getting around him.) Also he does this while still in motion which is impressive for a high schooler. High points well while blocking out with stiff legs to catch the ball at an arc an keep DBs off of it. Looks to be the slowest of our new wide receivers and likely the best, especially at first until others develop more. Should be a standard bearer of what a receiver is supposed to do. Sticky hands. All of our new receivers seem to possess sticky hands in their high school clips. Hopefully they all retain that.

Mathis has a nose for the ball. Cannot be stated how important that is. Nice looking LB.

Poti looks powerful.

Patrick Herbert looks like the real deal at tight end. Should definitely not be just another brother of so and so type of player. Catches the ball well. Not super fast but gets separation and YAC like a beast when catching he ball upright. Seems to block decently. Plays tough.

Mykael Wright just looks like he will be the best at what he plays. I think someone mentioned he could likely be our best running back (runs a bit upright but doesn't seem to be a problem for him.) Great as a wide receiver. Should make for an amazing DB. Will likely play with a nasty streak. Love that in a DB.

Townsend is definitely raw but possesses the one ability that is necessary at first. He finds the football relatively quickly and latches onto its holder like a leech. If he can take coaching and has some drive he will be really good. Reminds me of Kiko before he figured it all out. (Minus the problems.)

Bridges has incredible length and reach. Plays his position well. My only concern is speed. Watching him on jump balls with receivers should be a lot of fun.

Tuanu'u plays agile and nasty. Blows up the person he is blocking.

GeMon plays well in coverage. I was looking for the weird tackling style. I think that poster is correct but couldn't quite pinpoint it.

Agree with the assessment of Kristian Williams as a dancing bear. Ton of potential but looks lost at times. Should be a good one down the road. Punt block return one of the funniest clips in this giant video. Just.... a few... more.. yards. Has power to spare for others. Needs to find the ball at times.

Looking back on this there are a ton of players to be impressed with and all of them show high potential. This is better looking overall team tape than we have seen. Definitely worth watching all of.

Looking back on this there are a ton of players to be impressed with and all of them show high potential. This is better looking overall team tape than we have seen. Definitely worth watching all of.

Jayvaun Wilson - Sure nice stiff arm, but I still thing Cyrus HL is a better fitting big back. Wilson either needs to work on his speed, or become more aggresive and run like a big boy

Dorlus - I really like him. He could be like a Tony Washington or Gus Cumberlander that start really turning the corner the last couple years. Good upside, I agree.

Sala/Tanuaau - Both are studs. Our OL I feel like is always gonna be a strength as long as Mario is coach.

Wilhoite/Waters/Delgado/Pittman - All are talented, can't complain about any of em.

Ma'ae - I think he has the most upside of any player. Dude has flashes of excellence and is built right. With proper coaching, I think he could be great.

Kayvon - Amazin'

Hill - Looks pretty raw to me. Dunno if he'll ever contribute much.

Dollars - utility guy. Honestly reminds me of Redd with less elusiveness.

Ware-Hudson / Poti - I'm a fan of both. Wasn't so sure about either when landing them. But they got enough tools for coaches to get some value of these guys.

James - Ball hawk. This could end of being one of those Amadi type commits. 3 star commit late in the game from the other side of the country. Good offers, and impressive tape. I think we have a winner here.

Mathis - Typical LB. Nothing great, nothing bad. Should help our team.

Patrick Herbert - Our in state TEs have almost never panned out. Either injuries or something. Here's to one finally working out!

Mykael Wright - IMO best recruit of the class. Versatile as can be. A stud no matter where you put him.

Townsend - Raw. Don't know if he'll ever develop to contribute much.

Bridges - Unlimited potential. Let's see what the coaches can do.

GeMon - He's a big dude. I'm not sure yet what to think of him. Might end up playing end?

Kristian Williams - Less developed maybe then our other two DTs, but still like what he has to offer. Development player, but we could see the benefit a few years down the road.

Pretty much agree with all of that TK. Townsend looks raw but also doesn’t show up as big in film at all. Definitely doesn’t look 6’6

I also think Wright looks like a future first round pick.
