Is he good at least? I guess a JC TE just isn't exactly on my recruiting wish list

Mops just twittered it so I feel fine giving out his name since it's out in public now.
Brandon Williams from Joilet, IL
I can't find anything on him online.

I wonder what that does for the 4* TE Christian Thomas that visited over the weekend? I am surprised with the depth at TE they would sign a JUCO player at that position. Obviously worth it if they signed him.

I'm assuming it's this guy mentioned in the highlights for 11/7.

The coaches have built us into a program that's consistently in the top 25, in part because of their ability to recruit. You're some guy on an internet message board. Maybe you should trust them and not think you know a kid is bad because you've never heard of them.hines wrote:nah. coaches just love giving out scholie to players who suck. who knew?dthomas=ddixon wrote:Is he good at least? 9/19 - In the first, Walley connected with tight end Brandon Williams for an 80-yard score. Brandon Williams scored again in the third (67 yards) from a Walley pass. In the fourth, Walley threw two more touchdowns. Williams scored his third touchdown (34 yards) and Dominique Bell had a 16-yard score.
9/27 - The Wolves would score again with 2:27 left in the second on a 27-yard pass to Brandon Williams from Walley. Brandon Williams led all receivers with 88 yards.
10/10 - Brandon Williams totaled 72 yards rushing to lead JJC.
11/7 - Tight end Brandon Williams had 104 yards on 5 receptions and two touchdown passes from Walley.
The kids putting up some pretty good numbers. Maybe a diamond in the rough? He's in his second year there so he'll be a JR coming in.

Sounds like a good player. He averaged almost 16 yds a catch as a TE, pretty impressive. I bet the coaches saw his tape and thought we could bring him in to replace Dickson cause we have paulson and jordan returning next year and neither guy has a ton of experience.

If you put your cursor on "gallery" in the top left there will be a drop down menu with JJC's team & game photos. Williams is #7. Looks pretty beastly.

so agreed. come on folks, you didn't even know this kid walked the planet 2 hours ago and now all of a sudden some of you are wondering if this is a wise scholie. really? can't some of you just wait until there's an article written up?Tray Dub wrote:The coaches have built us into a program that's consistently in the top 25, in part because of their ability to recruit.
