Some quotes:
"Beautiful, beautiful place... beautiful place, beautiful people, the weather wasn't beautiful," he said laughing, "but it was one of the great experiences of my life."
"Oh, it was beautiful!" Thomas said. "They treat their football players like rock stars, the way that the NFL players are treated. The only thing that's missing is millions of dollars or you can't tell the difference between an NFL player and an Oregon Duck player."
"Oh my, they've got one of the best if not THE best facilities you will ever see," Thomas said. "The only thing I could say was 'Wow' every time they showed me a new place."
"I'd give it a ten," he said. "In fact I'd give it a ten-and-a-half because they smashed Arizona State."
"No, I didn't give a verbal commitment. I was so tempted to," he said.
Basically it is down to Oregon and USC.

Duck Territory Report
"I loved it there, Oregon has everything I'm looking for," Thomas said. "Oregon is a beautiful place with a great coaching staff in a great environment. The fan support is incredible, the facilities are the best I've ever seen and the way the coaches and players bond with one another is amazing as well.
He said you would be crazy not to look at Oregon as a TE. The only drawback he said was the weather, he is not used to the cold.

Re: Christian Thomas Update
I assume the coaches pointed out that the average temperature for home games is much warmer than it was for that particular night game.

He said in the Biggin's update that weather won't play a factor in his decision. He was kinda joking complaining about the weather saying, "That's what long socks are for."

Yeah I am sure he is aware that is not the normal weather. I also think he was just trying to find a negative and couldn't come up with anything so he just said the weather was cold.

Commit! Don't go to USC and waste away! Come to Oregon and play!
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Re: Christian Thomas Update
This article and ESPN's article seem to have a little different taste about them.
Rivals sounds like Thomas was almost a duck, while ESPN makes it sound like Thomas loved the visit, but USC and UCLA are still the teams to beat.
Don't ya just love recruiting?

This guy is from Palmdale and is bitching about the cold weather? Ahhhhh, it gets brutal in that neck of the woods on winter nights. I used to teach in near that hellhole. It gets cold and snows a lot more than it does in Eugene.

Good to hear! Out of curiosity, who are the other 3 teams in his list of 4 top teams? All Pac10 schools? Thanks!

Notice the plane that we flew on?

I'm not a member, but it looks like the other 3 are USC, Miami and Oregon State. I could be wrong though.
