after this weeks games the GAM projection is NDSU -6 over the Ducks with O/U 44 and mythical score NDSU 25-19.

Ducks couldn't get the ground game going and gave up too many on the ground. The GAM has an offensive power ratio of 74 for NDSU and 110 for Oregon. Lower is better 100 is neutral.

The defensive power ratio is 138.6 for NDSU and 98 for Oregon. 100 is neutral and higher is better.

After this weeks action The GAM has it:

DUCKS 36 NDSU BISON 23

A big day for the Ducks pulls them out in front since the start of this tracking "poll" last season. Congratulations on a great week.

NDSU QB Freshman Trey Lance has appeared on the ESPN Heisman watch list at #10.

After this weeks action The GAM has it:

DUCKS 32 NDSU BISON 23 The spread has closed a bit from last week.

Ducks looked fast, athletic and strong on Saturday. Montana was never ever to mount a threat. The TD drive was stopped for a FG. At that point I thought the 37.5 pts I got at 5 dimes was going to fall but Montana kept Oregon to 35 total giving the GAM another big win in Las Vegas.

NDSU used a fake FG scoring a TD in a routine victory @ Delaware.

In Las Vegas they don't really understand FCS football but they are very good none-the-less. Its fun giving them haircuts. We are now up $770 and looking forward to next week.

Stats are in and the results this week show the Bison closing the gap from 9 to 8 points. Both teams had good games but unfortunately I didn't see the Ducks. Fortunately they appear to be on in our area a lot.

NDSU had a great game against the #4 FCS team in the country California Davis.

Going into todays games the GAM has:
Oregon +6, last report was Oregon +8.

The over/under for next years game is now projected at: 46

The Mythical score: Oregon 26-20
The Bison are still looking for 6 points. That means something unusual like a returned kick, Pick 6, lots of Oregon turn-overs, something like that.

The GAM had Bison +5 going into the Iowa game. We called the upset NDSU by 2 because we were confident the Bison defense could score. They did, in the second quarter, a Pick 6. We cleaned up over at 5 Dimes. Some of the money will remain in the asset base for the rest of our lives.

Good luck this week. Each of the games is important as we lead into the Big Game next year.

After a stellar week:

NDSU BISON @ OREGON DUCKS

Oregon Ducks -7; O/U 47; Mythical score Ducks 27 BISON 20

The Ducks open the gap by 2 more points leaving the BISON looking for 7. The Ducks rolled over Colorado Got to watch a lot of that game and Colorado isnt that bad. They wouldn't win the MVFC by any means but the Ducks played stellar ball. Well coached, fast, tackle well, catch and pass with the best. All the fundamentals in one package.

The average of all scores since 8/31 is Oregon Ducks 28 NDSU BISON 22.

Have a good week. We probably wont buy tickets until the University puts them on sale next winter. Sometimes great seats open up cheap.

Right now section 305, 306, 307 & 328, 329, 330 look good. Priced them for this weeks games at under $120, on the 50 high up, good enough for us.

Tickets for the Junior Varsity tune-up game will likely be in the $60 range.

This has been fun to follow....thank you JBB.

Oregon is going to have an almost completely new offensive line and a new starting QB for this game. I suspect we will struggle on offense a little. However, the Oregon defense should be flat out insane. It will be interesting to see what the over/under is in this game and anything more than 50 feels like a sure bet.

Going into week #9:
Oregon vs NDSU September 5, 2020, Eugene, Oregon.
Ducks +6; O/U 46; Mythical Score: Oregon Ducks 26 NDSU Bison 20

NDSU closes the gap by 1 point. Its within range of a pick-6, return, etc for a 1 point upset.
Taking a look at the materials supplied by GAM Labs I see NDSU has been hit with a drag coefficient of -20% to account for the strength of schedule difference. Oregon is also awarded a 3 point home field. Without those adjustments Its NDSU 25 Oregon 23.

Great game this week against #25 Washington. Top notch football.

Bison had a win as well facing a stout Missouri State defense it was 22-0 NDSU.

Big news in Bison City this week: Game Day will be in Brookings SD for the Dakota College Football Championship: NDSU vs SDSU, The Battle of the Mighty Land Grants. The winner is awarded a stone marker exactly like thoselying along the SD/ND border. It will be a heck of a game, as big as they can possibly get in the Dakotas. Good chance to see the Bison.

Tickets for that game are on resale at stubhub and other places. The stadium is 20,000 and long sold out. Cheapest seats are $90 and only 115 available this morning. Your prices look like dream land. We would like to get seats in second deck mid field if possible. Love Oregon, used to live there. Rainier, near the bridge at Longview.

Looking forward to another week of good football. Good luck and good tailgating!

Not much changed this week. The GAM has
NDSU Bison @ Oregon Ducks
Oregon -6; O/U 48; Mythical score Oregon 27-21
the only thing that changed from last week is the mythical score. Both teams, having come through trials by fire, grew stronger and added a point to their indicated potential score from last week of Oregon 26-20.

The rush defense of the Ducks is spectacular. It will be a great matchup with the Bison. NDSU has the #1 rushing attack in FCS football. The Bison moved up to 37 in Sagarin. The Gophers passed them for the first time in many years. Unlike Oregon, Minnesota won't come anywhere near an NDSU game anymore. Once burned twice shy. Except for the Gophers. The losing streak against NDSU is at least 2 and probably 3 but whose counting?

It's funny too. It would be a great game each year to kick off the season. One year at TCF Gophers home field, the next at Target Field or US Bank stadium depending on the crowd. NDSU already sells out Target Field and outdraws the Gophers in Minneapolis.
