I assume most of us are expecting a genuine slaughter here. Maybe so. Somehow, however, I won't be shocked if the Bruins keep it much closer than the 3 TD+ point spread. Last year the Bruins looked awful in starting out 0-4 (including getting pounded at home by Fresno St.), but then proceeded to (1) only lose by a TD to #13 UW, (2) destroy Cal at Berkeley, and (3) nip Arizona. Then after being handled by both Utah and Oregon, they finished the season by barely losing to ASU in Tempe, beating USC, and losing a close game to Stanford. I'm just not ruling out Chip's ability to turn things around this year. At least not yet.

You are right, anything can happen. But I think that establishing something like the mercy rule in softball would be a good thing here.

Oklahoma will pound UCLA. Like I said, Bruins are starting the year at least 0-4, if not worse.

As expected, OU demolishes UCLA 48-14.
