All of this worrying...sheesh

Post by KingofDucks »

On Educk and C4Q, there are a millions posts about worrying about this and that. Are we gonna get enough receivers? Blah blah blah. Every 3 days, there is a new post about this crap.

CHILL OUT.

I can say that I am very confident that we will get Gaines, Jackson, Wheaton, and Hall.

KOD, I for one, appreciate your input. The prevalence of negativity can become very annoying, to say the least.

Getting all of those guys plus Brown and/or Boyd would make this a great class. We'll know in a few weeks who we get.

Ya, and I am pretty confident about Boyd. The extension of Brown's recruiting process isn't really a good thing. But all we can do is wait. Why worry? So many people are acting like Woody freakin Allen.

Personally. I think Brown and a bunch of jobbers would make this a great class.

If Oregon puts together a group of skill players that works the passing game in balance with the current running game, this offense will explode... Again!

It is not outside the realm of possibility to see Oklahoma's scoring record eclipsed by the Ducks in the fairly near future.

Seriously, I haven't been posting much lately because everything is the same doom & gloom BS. There's like 50 threads on it. I come on here to get updates on recruiting & discuss the team, not to read thread after thread full of the same whining. "Why can't we get east coast recruits?" "Why aren't we an elite recruiting team?'. It's the same people who wanted Masoli to be an all-star after two games. Spoiled, unappreciative, bandwagon fans. GET A GRIP!

On a positive note, This site predicts good things for Oregon... i.e.:

Welcome to the “college football recruiting prediction model” website hosted by the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University. This website contains information about an econometric model that has been developed by three economists (Mike DuMond, Allen Lynch and Jennifer Platania) to predict the collegiate choices of high school football players.

Sam Montgomery, Tajh Boyd, and Cliff Harris commit to Oregon... Just missing Rolando Jefferson (To Fresno State).

Meh... This scientific analysis stuff is great, if it works!

Interesting that in their latest prediction thread,

http://cfn.scout.com/2/831820.html

CFN lists Oregon, Clemson and Tennessee as the current leaders for Boyd's services, with no mention of tOSU.

I am very confident in this year's class and think it will end up nicely. Oregon's recruiting is slowly going up and someday it will be only elite athletes, but IMO this year was a great recruiting success

I've thought that the last couple of classes have been great classes. All that we have lacked from those years is WR's and DT, as the future eventually showed. Both of them were highly rated as well.
If we can get some of those WRs on the list, added to the success that we have had at LB this class, I will be happy with this year and looking forward to the progress made from where we are in the 2010 class.
