Break Out Players For Spring Ball?
Who does everyone think will have a great spring and put them self in a great spot going into summer camp as a player who will have a good season?
Last year Blount, Paysinger, Matthews, Alston, and J. Lewis all had great camps and all had good years.

I think you will see guys that have the prospects of starting and significant minutes available to them step it up and take the openings. Guys like Pleasant, Holland, Harper, Marvin Johnson, Hamani Stevens & Darrion Weems. I also think Kenny Rowe blossoms into a force for us with a great Spring.

Agreed, the coaches are sky high on Harper. I expect CK to find him a place in our offense and let him become a star

Well if Leon is not going to qualify than I would pick John Boyett, Marvin Johnson or Titus Jackson(I'm hoping it's boyett) on defense while moving Ward over to the rover spot. On offense I would guess that it would be Holland or Hamani Stevens.

Also, one of the predictions that I heard on ESPN last year was the Jamere Holland would be a household name by the end of the year. I think that predictions comes true a year late.

Re: Break Out Players For Spring Ball?
i think we see a new blount this year he will practice harder and become even better now that he knows what it takes to play and practice in d-1 also knowing he is the go to guy this year you will see even a more motivated runner..(if that is possible.)
im also saying tj ward will be a household name after he makes highlights on sportscenter every weekend for hitting like a mack truck!!!

I would agree here, but you can't really have a breakout in spring ball if you can't do spring ball...desertfan wrote:L. James
Offense: Holland, Cantu, Malachi Lewis, Cody and York.
Defense: Cellotto, Rowe, Glasper, Kaddu, Jackson III.
