Gabe King - Gabe says he was just messing around with his Facebook status but is still high on the Ducks though he says he is not ready to commit.
Shaydon Akuna - Shaydon is on the verge of getting an offer from USC. At this point Oregon has as good of a shot as anyone, however there is still a long ways to go.
Christian Thomas - The word right now is that the Ducks are leading. He still plans on visiting Miami and USC but it looks like Oregon is going to be hard to beat.
2011QB - Jerrard Randall- Oregon is number one on his list right now

George Uko - The word is Oregon is no longer recruiting Uko.
Kenny Stills - Kenny is no longer being recruited by Oregon. He is down to Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Florida. It would appear that Oklahoma is in the driver's seat for Stills.
Bjorn Werner- Word is Oregon could be in the lead or very near the top for Werner. He is expected to come out for Civil War game.

Jerrard Randall
"Well Oregon is my top school, so yeah I'm real interested. I'm pretty sure they will be one of my visits as long as they will have me. My top 3 schools are Oregon, Florida, Florida State in that order. I like Dennis Dixon and what he did up there. Their spread offense is lethal and would be a perfect fit for me. I love the way they run their offense and I have been watching them this year. That is why right now I have Oregon at the top."
Distance won't be a factor according to Randall. FSU, West Virginia, Ohio State and Florida among others have been in contact with him.

Re: Another Recruiting Update
Thanks for the updates gofightingducks. Great to hear about Thomas, i had thought he was pretty much all SC. Definitely seems like King is ours to lose. Its amazing how many 2011 QBs are high on us. Looks like we will have our choice of the 2 guys we want next year.

Thanks for the update.
We stopped recruiting Uko? Lets hope we have others that are better in mind.
The QB out of FL looks decent I look forward to hearing more on him in the months to come.
GO DUCKS!!

Re: Another Recruiting Update
Uko was sliding with us, so no surprise we dropped him. His attitude is also a little bit of a concern. Don't get me wrong, I'd take him in a heart beat, but with Heimuli and Werner still available, I'd gladly settle for them.briarduck wrote:Thanks for the update.
