Re: New commit
Dang I really wanted Roszell Gayden, but Clanton is still a great pick up.

Re: New commit
I wonder if Gayden still visits this week and whether the Ducks take another JUCO OL?UOducksTK1 wrote:Dang I really wanted Roszell Gayden, but Clanton is still a great pick up.

Clanton's from San Francisco City College and has started for the past two years. And while he never played with them two other former SFCC players were key to his recruitment. Both Masoli and defensive tackle Blake Ferras spent time with him on his trip to Eugene.

Re: New commit
I'm sure it still helps having Masoli attending the same JC college, even if they were there at different times.fecta23 wrote:Doubt it since they never played togetherBiggus Duckus wrote:Can probably thank Masoli for this one!

Hmm, Scout has him ranked pretty low. #27 OT, which excludes OGs.

Re: New commit
You do realize that UW basically runs scout and always ranked recruits interested in Oregon rather low. Curtis White is an exception to this...They also don't list four or five star players interested in the Ducks unless it's obvious to other sites such as rivals and espn.

Re: New commit
He is huge, and I love the fact that he goes to a great JC. I'm sure he will fit right in with the ducks.
