Ya I had him around 20 on my list. I still feel like there were a few solid names that could be potential starters or rotational guys. Idk if Wiltjer will ever be that.Oregon Ownage wrote:First reach of this draftDrBradBuss wrote:Everything's a crap shoot already at 12.
Greg Wiltjer
Wasnt expecting him to be picked until late round 1

Tough choice at 15, decided to go with the guy who looks like he can get buckets, usually means you at least get a decent bench guy out of it

I liked him with my later pick as he can be a very good bench option right nowCellar-door wrote:Tough choice at 15, decided to go with the guy who looks like he can get buckets, usually means you at least get a decent bench guy out of it

Gotta say I'm happy with this draft with Thompson and Bowie. Who knows if they'll pan out but I like them for the future but they certainly got the upside.Oregon Ownage wrote:Dam, I hoped he kept sliding to 18Marzeial wrote:Hawks select Bernard Thompson

Definitely wasn't expecting Thompson to fall to 16 since it's a tough spot to pick from but I'm really glad he fell

Maybe next time, everyone can share their draft lists with me before I make a pick.

Same. Definitely could.offtheheezy wrote:super interested to see how Wood turns out - draft notes make him seem almost better than Stockton
Really torn between Cage, Thompson and Humphries. Picked Cage cause he was best available even though I needed a backcourt player. Plus I want to make the playoffs so I can rebuild

Re: 1984 Draft Discussion
Question, did you mean to leave out Stuart Gray. He's listed on the centers but MIA on the eligible players list. I would be highly interested in drafting him here if he was intended to be included.
