You can take this for what ever you think it's worth:

Both Gabe King and Troy Hill committed to the ducks this week. I don't normally post things on here because I am not that big into recruiting, but I thought after a game like that last night I would see what was being discussed. From what I know, King committed first and then Hill followed at the request of Hill and his parents the information is not being reported by my source...I can not give any information as to who that is...but I will try to answer questions if you like.

Amazing how confused reports get when a forum poster on another site cuts and pastes large chunks of an article without providing a link...

BTW, thanks for the update, MerDuck!

The best part about King and Hill are that they are two good defensive recruits. Offensive recruits are usually more flashy, but the ducks need defense.

Will the ducks still take Mathis and Stepheson with Hill already in?

Even if the allegations aren't true, I just want to know what the allegations are!
I am sure their issue revolves around King's move to the Eugene area. The University of Oregon has reportedly gone to great lengths to ensure that nothing improper was done during that whole process, so I doubt these message board vigilantes have any clue what they are talking about.

I have been assured, by an ultimate source, that Oregon is in absolutely no danger of violation with King. Every step has been triple checked for compliance.

I have a feeling Capt. Kelly will want his compliance dept. run as tight as the rest of the Battleship Oregon.

Well Said....The dude is on top of just about everything.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
