i never get hopes up for any HS DT recruits. Even Haloti had probs his first year and he was as dominant a HS DT we've ever seen or had. I expect at least one JC DT. No clue on # of HS kids we'll get but I don't expect him or them to make any significant impact.dthomas=ddixon wrote:He is definitely a must get. We need immediate contributions from DT recruits next year. If we get King he could be an option there too. He has the frame to fill out to 290-300. That would probly be down the road though, can't expect him to put on 40 lbs between now & next fall.UOducksTK1 wrote:Heimuli is very high on my list right now. Need to get him here.

Any time someone official visits, you have a shot with that player. He is wide open right now and it sounds like he wants to take all his visits. My guess is he decides late in the recruiting process, perhaps even on signing day.karlhungis wrote:Do we have a shot with Heimuli?
But a good visit could put us up there with Heimuli.

Official visitor list per JHOP
http://www.duckterritory.com/duck-footb ... tleimage-1
Terrance Mitchell
Bjorn Werner
Ricky Heimuli
Dior Mathis
James Scales
Ethan Grant
Rivals has also confirmed 6 official visitors but the list isn't out yet but I am assuming their list is the same.

No official word yet re Werner, but it doesn't appear that he made it for the game last night. Shame. Hopefully he'll still be here this weekend.

With how many games Gabe King has been to now I would be very surprised if he does not end up a Duck.

Re: Updated visitor list for Civil War ?
It's not surprising that he's been to as many games as he has. What would you rather do on a Saturday in Eugene: stay at home watching TV or going to a Ducks game? I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to determine which one most people would choose if they were put in King's position. With him going to so many games, it does seem to bode well for Oregon's prospects at getting a commitment from him.RanDux wrote:With how many games Gabe King has been to now I would be very surprised if he does not end up a Duck.

Friend of mine who has never been confused with being "in the know" said that Owa was in attendance as well last night. Haven't seen his name mentioned in this thread yet, but I'll be honest I was skimming.
Any truth to this or was my friend wrong/pulling something out of his ass (as per usual)?

Re: Updated visitor list for Civil War ?
Word on the streets was that Owa couldnt make it because of basketball. I dont know if that stuck or not but with all the hype around the visitors I doubt he could have gone unnoticed by the masses.
