Yeah, there are 10 players with Div-1 offers in Oregon this year if you count Gabe King.

yea...we need a much higher density of abject poverty coupled with lack of career options to raise the level of football in this state

Don't forget Derek Nielson offers from several D1 schools including OSU. The Ducks
had better move soon.

No you haven't, so please stop starting threads about why we haven't offered crappy in-state players.

John Campbell will make some team very happy. Book it. Sheldon plays Jesuit December 12th for the state title and I have a pretty good feeling that Lowe will cover Campbell in that game. Now many people on this board were all over lowe's jock so we will see what happens. John Campbell is crazy good, a more athletic Mike Hass..

Not that I know anything about this Campbell kid, or have anything against him, but that above quote isn't saying all that much, at least not for a D-1 athlete, and it CERTAINLY isn't any sort of ringing endorsement for why Oregon should have interest in using a scholly.

Hass has to be about the least athletic player to ever star in D1 football, and while I fully admit that he WAS a truly great high school and college player, I think it's safe to say that Oregon is looking for players that have those types of intangibles AND athleticism...

I really get tired of the Mike Hass comparisons. Mike Hass led the NCAA in receiving. Everyone says they have a better version of Mike Hass. I really don't think this kid has any chance of leading the NCAA in receiving
