Not a bad way to kick off official visits. Cyrus Moss would be huge, elite edge rushers are so rare.

Had a big recruiting weekend last weekend.

WR Isaiah Sategna has two crystal balls from Oregon. He just decommited from Texas A&M. He's visiting USC next.

I won't be getting too optimistic until he's done with visits. USC can make a similar-ish pitch on the track/football combo, as they've historically had some successful sprinters. Obviously, team success in both sports goes to the Ducks and it's not even close.

Sounds like we're in a good place with Teitaroa, the long WR with excellent hands out of SoCal (Servite HS). I'm going to keep my fingers crossed on that one, as well.

A lot of WR targets. One commit already in Stephon Johnson. Curious how many we’re taking after getting Franklin/Thornton/Brevard last year. There is bound to be attrition either the current roster, but I would be surprised if there’s more than three unless there’s just too good of a prospect to pass up.

TMac is really good, that would be a great pickup. Kid is really athletic at his size, not a burner but just tremendous body control and hands.

Taking 3 wide receivers each year, when you have 3 starters, isn't really off from what you'd want. That's effectively how you get from 22 starters to 85 scholarships, give or take. Guys will also transfer or retire. My one concern would be that there just doesn't appear to be a slot guy in the group of targets after signing only outside guys last year.

That's a great point. I totally forgot about him. If he gets big enough, I think he's a RB, but if he maintains his slight build, definitely a slot receiver.

Exactly-- I think he may be used like DAT. He's slight, but shifty and not able to take the workload of an every down back. He'll be perfect for Moorehead's system (combine this with 2 TEs) it will be really difficult for defenses to key on any single outlet.

Sategna getting another CB in and he’s down to UO and USC. Mother was an Olympic sprinter for Jamaica and dad is an assistant track coach at Arky, so hopefully he’s the speed receiver we’ve been clamoring for. Ran 10.8 in the 100m as a freshman and 6.86 in the 60m which are fantastic times for a kid that age. Doesn’t look like he’s hit those times since then, but splitting hairs here.

USC is recruiting really well, and UCLA isn’t doing too shabby either. Need to get some recruiting momentum.
