Too bad about the LDS mission. If it is the case that he leaves after his freshman year, his commitment actually does nothing for our DT depth in the short term. That is not what we need. We would still have to pick up a bunch of DT's in next years cycle.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

If Hamani Stevens does return to the Ducks, he may find himself playing DT instead of center...

I might need a refresher but I don't remember us having any DT's going on missions. Do you mean going to a JC and then not making it back?

he was quoted in 3 different newspapers that he was coming back. why would you think he's lying? and what DT's haven't returned from their mission? you do realize we have one starting DT who returned from his mission right?

I didn't say anything about mission trips, woundedknees said that, so don't get your panties in a twist negative nancy. I was just making a general stement about our DT situation. If you have followed recruiting over the years you know we don't have good luck with DT's especially the ones that have not qualified.

You guys think Steven's ends up back at DT when he returns? He liked "D" I recall.

Many Ducks that have good connections are saying they DON'T expect Stevens to ever be a Duck again.

I know a Duck with God-like connections that says he will be back.

^Lets hope so...because he's a top notch player, as we all know, and we could use him at C or DT.
