Myles Wade Update
Texas Tech sounds like the team to beat, but Washington just offered, here's the article:
http://recruiting.scout.com/2/832648.html
Here's one of his quotes:
"My Dad said that Seattle is three hours away from Portland, and I've been to Seattle."
If Myles needs his Dad to tell him how far Portland is from Seattle, then it's starting to make sense why he didn't qualify in the first place.
I still wish Myles Wade the best of luck. Sucks things didn't work out.

If the JC requirements didn't change, why didn't he work out?

If Myles can't get into an Oregon school he has no chance in hell getting admitted to UW. UW has higher standards than Oregon or OS does for JC transfers. UW rarely gets JC transfers because of the tough admission standards.

It's becoming quite apparent that Sark at UW is going to recruit with a lot looser rules than Willingham did.

He'd be great on Leach's team.

Re: Myles Wade Update
Ok according to sources close to Wade it's not entirely grades keeping him out of UO, it's that one (not Grey) of the coaches decided he isn't UO DLine material. For whatever reason the coaches don't see him as a big time or even a starter at UO, so they stopped recruiting him. So LET HIM GO, he isn't coming to UO oh and a side note OS coaches saw the same thing and told him thanks but no thanks.fpsduck wrote:He'd be great on Leach's team.
Sorry to be this way but this is a subject that continues to be rehashed every week or two. Oh and as for JT from what has been said on educk is that for whatever reason the State of Oregon, not UO decided to implement the harsher JC admissions this year, though they will be the admissions requirement for all pac-10 schools in '10. For whatever reason the State felt the need to do it this year probably some nerd who hates sports in Salem.

I believe you, but that still surprises me, especially after the DT Oregon has brought in recently. Coming out of high school, Wade was one of the top DT in the country. What's changed?

Re: Myles Wade Update
Duckgrad I'm not sure what happened totally, just that for whatever reason our coaches decided to move on. I've heard rumors but nothing concrete. Given or DT needs they must have saw something they really didn't like.

Sounds like Allioti didn't want Wade. I cannot stand Nick. I'm really not sure why he still has a job with Oregon.

I think there is more to it than that article indicates.........OSEwe didn't even offer him.

I believe he was also downgraded to a 3* so there must be something in his game that people aren't liking

Which is interesting, because rivals has him as the #2 ranked JC defensive tackle.
