I hardly find an image that looks like it climbed out of the depths of some anime nightmare vision of apocalypse reassuring.

Resembles something the indigenous empires of central America would sacrifice their victims to atop their temple pyramids, or the 'Beast' described in the biblical book of Revelation.

I need one of those statues for my front yard, I'll point it at the hoarders who bought the property next to mine. They'll die of jealousy that they didn't find and steal one first.
