Will Richardson has continued his hot streak so far. With such a big lead in the 2nd half, they should be able to get plenty of rest for the starters.

So resting is the reason they backed off so much?

Even with them playing the reserves, they're still up by 30 with 3 minutes to go. UW is really bad and I'm wondering how they managed 4 conference wins so far this season.

Ducks cruise to an 84-56 win over the Huskies. Oregon really was never challenged and got to clear the benches for much of the 2nd half. Not sure there's a hotter team in CBB than them right now.

Welp, I guess the Ducks and Huskies are no longer tied in conference.

The fuskies were playing the oregon deep bench and still struggled to get it under 30. I have never seen such a lopsided result. I savored it.greenyellow wrote:Ducks cruise to an 84-56 win over the Huskies. Oregon really was never challenged and got to clear the benches for much of the 2nd half. The recap on uwdawgpound is nice
By the time someone other than Roberts made a field goal attempt for Washington, the Huskies would trail by 30 at 40-10. That Terrell Brown Jr. layup “ended” a 27-2 run by Oregon as Washington couldn’t get out of their own way. 3 times in the first half the Dawgs accidentally stepped out of bounds in the exact same spot. Even with Oregon’s ridiculous court artwork that’s inexcusable.

If the Beavers are Little Brother, what are the Doogs considered at this point? Infant Cousin?

After this game, I'd say red-headed step-child.gogreen55 wrote:If the Beavers are Little Brother, what are the Doogs considered at this point? Infant Cousin?

I am impressed with three things the last few games:
1) Development of N'faly
2) Confidence of Richardson
3) Overall team defense
Our shooting has been lights out the past few games and I don't expect that to continue. However, if those 3 things hold throughout the season then we can be a really solid team.
