Re: Heat/Nets
I Agree. Essentially Horry for Campbell with salary fillers. Horry has showed steady growth and I'm high on him, but Campbell fills our largest hole and brings elite shot blocking. This rounds out our rotation

And you're 100% on the money. Honestly I'd rather cancel it if possible. Sleezy move that may put me in the category with certain infamously nefarious characters around here

100% serious. I have a full roster with no player that makes sense to add to match contracts

Ha, you can’t back out man. You posted to accept the trade. It’s a bummer but it is what it is. Work it out.

Re: Heat/Nets
Not to burst the Heat’s bubble, but as the master of splitting trades to make salaries work you could just do
Trade 1: Kevin Willis, Robert Horry, Breuer for Campbell
Then use the Heat’s now free roster spot to trade Pelle + Vet Min for Jepsen.
No cuts needed

At the end of the day it sucks, and unfortunately that’s the risk you run when trading at all.lukeyrid13 wrote:^ What these guys are saying. You work out the semantics, but you can't back out

Re: Heat/Nets
I’d like to give Heat benefit of the doubt and say TC was bad timing
It’s an interesting point though that if salaries don’t work out and there’s not a way to do it without changing what one team gets then what happens?
But in this case the Heat should be unaffected completely with the two trade approach so no biggie
